I was severely interested in getting the Mark III until I heard they redesigned them for easier stripping and its now the Mark IV. I wonder when they'll be here. A year or so?

Irunguns?

It is a pistol and the barrel lengths are good.

It doesn't need the approval "process" per say like new semi auto long guns do to earn the FRT # where highly $$$ government lab coats get unlimited time, all the tools they need and no budget to make a gun shoot "full auto"...even if its help together with duct tape and trigger pulled with a cord and TWO rounds go off before it breaks/fails!!!

I would if I could sell my Mark III 22/45, but then, no. I would not sell it.
I spent a lot of money (Volquartson innards) and time (damn the disassembly
and even more the reassembly) and on a few pairs of 1911 grips of all types
and front and rear sights. The only part I haven't changed is the trigger.
But I'm running (have run) out of storage space.
Only last month I had to decide between the S&W 22 Victory from Irunguns
and waiting for the Ruger Mark IV. I went for the S&W22. Delivery expected
sometime this month.
