Looks a bit like the Walther .22
Unfortunately the barrel is a bit short for most of us, but it sounds like they may have a threaded barrel available as an option.... The standard barrel is 3.5inches.

The SR22P is an entirely new platform and differs from anything ever offered in the Ruger lineup. It is a compact, traditional double-action .22 semiauto with a direct blowback action. It incorporates a 3.5-inch stainless-steel barrel and features an aircraft-grade aluminum slide, glass-filled nylon polymer-frame construction and steel magazine. It is approximately the same size as a Colt M1911 Officer’s Model but weighs only 17.5 ounces.

I'm out.

And so is 90% of Canadian firearms community.

Thanks Ruger

90%, isn't it more like 100%? Can guys with pre C-68 FACs turned PALs even get them imported? AFAIK, and someone feel free to correct me, people who can buy 12.6s can only buy 12.6 guns that are already in the country.

Go to Rugers website. The home page shows (says) it all, Ruger isnt releasing firearms based on CND rules/regulations. They are going to build for the Americans, if they have any extra that qualify, they get shipped to Canada.
I wouldnt be blaming Ruger, Id be blaming Canadian firearms regulations...IMO.

Correct. 100% not avail to CDNs

I don't blame Ruger for not pandering to a small market but they have in the past...:p
