Ruger KM77 MK11

I found a used ruger KM77 MK11. I am interested in an accurate target rifle like a 700p or 10fp and was wondering if the Ruger would be a suitable substitute? Does anyone have any feedback?

Just a GUESS......

I don't think that Ruger would be a good ACCURATE rifle. Hunting rifle would be alright, but I don't think for a precision rifle.

But, I will get told...........

I have owned a few Ruger rifles and with the exception of my Mini-14 they have all delivered some pretty decent accuracy. I just sold a heavy barrel 22-250 that would shoot 5 shot groups well under the inch at 100 yards. A decent rifle that actually fits the shooter and feels comfortable will go a long way in how it can be shot. Extra bells and whistles will also help in developing accuracy, it depends on what you want the gun for and what kind of accuracy you think it should deliver.

I've heard Hit and miss accuracy reports of the factory guns. It's my understanding that these guns NEED a proper barrel break-in...but I don't own one, nor a borescope, so that's all just hearsay.
