I am looking at adding a front sight and a NEGCS Peep. The problem I have is I don't know what height of front sight that will work with the peep. Anyone have a M77 that they can check the height of their front sight?
Hi CAC. I have a M77 in 30-06 (1982) I am the owner since new. It has ORIGIONAL FACTORY sights. Front from top of barrel to top of sight is 0.771 inches or 19.59 mm....give or take a few thousands..it's tricky to get a perfect measurement on the factory sight the way it is designed without removing it. Note this is a M77 not a M77 MKII type rifle. Hope this helps.
