Ruger M77 Hawkeye All weather vs. Remington SPS

Hey fellas, I'm trading up to either a Ruger M77 Hawkeye All Weather or a Remington 700 SPS. Both chambered in .30-06. What are your thoughts on either rifle?

I chose the Ruger over the Rem 700 for the usual reasons that get debated - mauser action, 3 position safety and so on.
So far my Scout has proven to be very solid on the range and has functioned flawlessly!

Ruger by far. Superior safety, one piece bolt, CRF, and overall design. I own several of them and have found them to be reliable and accurate.

Ruger if you'll be happy as is.
Remington if you think you may modify it in the future.

No experience with the Remington but my Ruger Hawkeye all weather has been money well spent, no problems or regrets whatsoever.

Thanks fellas! I have put the Ruger on layaway. No I can't see an major modifications in the future other then maybe switching to a heavier barrel since I do a lot of target shooting. I think I'll be happy with this rifle.
