I did some honing and cleaning up the trigger on my mk11 it improved it quite a bit. But at the end of the day its still what it is, fine to me for a hunting rifle though.
How much improvement did the Timney trigger make? And do you recommend it?
I ask because I have a Ruger M77 II fullstock stainless in 7x57 being shipped to me as we speak,
and I very much will want it to be everything I'm hoping for.
I had the trigger on my early MKII worked on by a gunsmith and it's now one of the best trigger in my rifles. I have an Alaskan with an LC6 at Guntech as we speak, much nicer trigger than the MKII was from factory but just needs to be lightened up a bit. Maybe worth a look before ordering an aftermarket one.
What did it cost to have the trigger done?
