I have been thinking about refinishing the stock on my M77 but have now decided it may be better to replace the stock if possible. Does anyone know if a non-synthetic stock is available for my old gun?

Have you tried Boyds? if they don't have it they will make it for you. I don't have any contact info buttt i know there on the net.

Got mine from WGP in Edmonton.Good folks to deal with.If they don't have what you are looking for, they seem to make a real effort to find it or refer you to someone else that might be able to help.

Thank you for the info people. After looking at the stocks available and the pricing of them, I decided to try to resurrect the original stock. I have it stripped and am now pondering a replacement recoil pad. Should i go with something like the original or should I opt for something like a limbsaver with all its cushion? I use the gun for deer hunting mainly, but have plans to do some groundhog eradicating with it as well. I have never shot with one of those cushy type pads. I shoot a Bennelli Nova for waterfowl and am kinda used to the kick.
