I have a draw to get back into a lever 30-30
I would like to ream it to 30-30AI eventually as I have brass and dies for one.

I’ve heard great things about the new ruger/marlins
The JM stamped guns have their reputation.

I had a remlin 336 and it showed lol.

So what would you go with and why?

I went with the Rossi R95 over the Ruger made 336 due to availability, price & mechanical improvements on 'em. Ruger doesn't make a Trapper 336 at this time,
but Rossi ones ain't hard to get. Happy with the R95 version well enough.

I have had numerous JM Marlins over the yrs that were decently made and functioned well. Only bought one Remlin, an 1894 unit that was not up to me liking and soon moved it on.

I’ve only ever handled the R92. They feel like a quality build. I do prefer the looks of a 336 over the R95. Don’t really care for the butt stock on the rossi. Looks like it would be low for an optic.

I like the Henry’s. But already have a big boy 45colt.
