I have decided it's time to get a .22 pistol to plink around with...I was wondering what will give the best value for the buck? In terms of both durability and accuracy..?

I have heard that Ruger is much harder to take down but slightly more accurate. Anyone have any good suggestions? (Also it would be nice to provide the model, ie: standard, camper, hunter, competition, target, etc, So I can look into it more..)

Thanks so much in advance!!

i have both.
if i was to recommend one to someone it would be the Buckmark, but get the one that has the URX grips and fiber optics sites.

both are good guns though.
buckmark is just less expensive and easier to find, plus easier to disassemble and clean (not that 22's need a lot).

pretty much every place carries Buckmark now'a days.

here is the Buck Mark Family Tree

i have the Practical URX and i love it!

Whats the difference between the URX and UFX...? I'm looking on frontier firearms and they got the standard as well as the practical one...confused as to which one to get haha, the "Practical" is 10 bucks cheaper but with fibre optic sights....what are you recommendations? Thanks!
