Ruger Mark II grips, availability?

Hi all - Where would you look in Canada for "standard" profile grips for the Ruger Mark II? (NOT the 22/45)

I think I'm looking for a set of the factory checkered plastic grips, but I'd probably be happy with nice looking wood or other other designs/materials as long as they're similar thin profile and ambidextrous.

Any tips appreciated, thanks!

Ruger in the US has them on for $9.95 if you know anyone down there. I bought holsters direct fairly recently, not sure about grips. I have a set of factory grips but want to keep them for whoever ends up with the gun. I use Pachymar on mine and prefer them, but I brought them up quite a while back. Good luck.

Thats too bad. They must consider it as a firearms "part" and aren't licensed to ship..

Hogue sells a set of wrap around grips. Finger grooves in the front. Slightly thicker than factory. I find they fit my hand really well. I believe I bought mine from Cabela’s so are definitely available in Canada.

Firearms parts are a no-go with them though - Can't check out with a Canadian address.

I thought there was a $100 exemption on gun parts from the US? That being said though most places do not want to ship to Canada regardless. Can’t ship to Canada, clowns will eat me.

That was upped a while back, i think it is 500 now. But due to the ITAR rules, most will not ship here. Thank a Liberal. - dan
