I have a mark ii gov. model already and a mark ii bull barrel in the mail. The trigger on the gov. model is nice and crisp but heavy. Shooting slow fire is uncomfortable having to pull so hard. It is very accurate and I'm sure I could shoot better with a lighter trigger. I want to have the volquartsen kit installed. I think I'll probably want the bull barrel done at the same time so the triggers match. Does anyone know the best place to order it and a qualified gunsmith to install it. I live in Whistler but I'm in Vancouver all the time so a good gunsmith in the lower mainland would be appreciated. I'm fine with taking it down to clean it but don't want to get involved taking it apart further at this stage. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
Called sylvestre sports. They are out of stock and said that volquartsen is not making the kit for the mark ii anymore. I just wanted to buy th seat and bushing but they don't have that either. The sear is the same for the mark ii and iii and they don't have it on order. Any one know of another importer of volquartsen parts into Canada? thanks
 
I'm just going to throw this back out there. Is there an importer of the volquartsen sear and bushing for the ruger mk ii in Canada? I understand the sear is the same in the mkii and mkiii.I'll put it in myself. Thanks
 
I had Dlask do a trigger job for me when they were still on Winston Ave in Burnaby maybe 25 years ago. Beautiful work.
