Ruger Mark III Speed Strip Kit???

thanks.. I'll read about it and look at the reviews.. I doubt that brownells would ship that across the border.. it is a firearm part.. i'll email them to find out..

I just don't bother cleaning my .22 pistols until they ask for attention. The Rugers are a pain to strip, but I don't find them quite bad enough to purchase this product.
 
I have talked to the manufacturer about this product. They have a video that is a very compelling case to buy and they said they would ship to Canada, although it was cheaper through Brownell's.

I didn't buy it because I already have a custom hammer in my mk III and didn't want to pay for another. They stated that you need to use the hammer that comes with the kit as it is radiused smaller so that the bolt will pull right out. Any other hammer won't work.

If this didn't require an Allen wrench, I think I'd be sold. Necessitating specific tools sort of defeats the purpose of field strip capability. Also considering that the Ruger Standard/Mark I/II/III/ are range only pistols lessens my excitement for this product.
