Starting at @ 1:50 I couldn't agree more with this guys description of the Ruger-Marlin action.
The loading gate is quite stiff, hammer & lever plunger springs are way over powered.
Spring kits for my Rugers arrived the other day. I have spring kits & shims installed in my Remington's for the same reason.

The 44Mag Remington has a Range Point Precision medium loop lever, I can swap that lever back and forth between the 357 and 44 Remington made rifles.
As per RPP, you can't swap levers back and forth between 44 & 357 Ruger rifles.
The Ruger rifles have slimmer forends and a satin blued finish compared to the chunkier Remington forends and mat blued finish.
The Ruger 357/38 has cycled all the rounds I've tried in both 357Mag & 38Spl. The Marlins are not as picking as my Rossi R92 357/38.
I haven't tried 44Spl in either 1894 44Mag/44Spl.
Even with the heavy trigger pull, both Rugers had touching 3 shot 357M & 44M groups at 30ish yds. The 38Spl loads I tried opened up to 1.5 inch at 30ish yds.
The 1st Ruger-Marlin 1894c 357/38 to arrive at my door.
Retailer received rifle on a Friday afternoon, I seen & ordered on-line early Saturday morning, at my door Tuesday afternoon.
Retailer never opened box, rifle went from receiving to shipping & with free shipping I was to lazy/cheap to make the 3hr round trip to pick it up.
This is how the reciever looked when I unpacked the rifle.

It was a 'relatively' quick 2.5 month turn around for Ruger/Gravel to replace.
