Ruger Mini-14 Accu-strut

Just build your own. I used two UTG tri rail mounts and a rail riser (too lazy to look for an appropriately sized bar).
I've only had it out once and it seems to have eliminated most of the vertical stringing.

I haven't got an image account... I have enough spam as it is.

There are pictures here with exactly what I did with the exception that I didn't use a rod... though I may sacrifice a mini-mag for the purpose.

You must make sure to place the first clamp directly against the gas block for it to have any effect.

I used a rail riser similar to this one on the bottom rails instead since I already had one.

A simple google search for DIY STRUT MINI14 will turn up lots of sites with good information and instructions, that's what I did.

Apologies in advance to mods if I'm not supposed to link.

The har bar kinda gets its straightening reliability by securing to the gas block, i am not sure your UTG design will do anything at all boss as it doesn't secure the barrel at all you have just hung a bar off of it? it may work i guess but my har bar which i installed on my 180 series ranch rifle was rock solid once it was all bolted together?? just saying

I've already noted an improvement as have others without clamping to the gas block. The strut changes the harmonics of the barrel. I'll do the actual set screw trick when I have the time. :)

Well thats great! easy affordable solution!! and it doesn't look alot different from the harbar cept the rails but they may come in handy??
Cheers

You could use the rails to hang all the tactical toys you can find!

Myself, I'll settle for a lightweight bipod.
