Have a Mini in great condition but have a minor problem; every time we take a shot the trigger mechanism falls out. The trigger guard is levered up into place and clicked closed.

I am hoping it is simple an adjustment of the tension to make the closed trigger assembly simlply more 'tightly closed'.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Asides from this the rifle works like a million bucks, especially with the Leopold scope mounted on it.

Please. Suggestions?

Do you have it in an aftermarket stock? Sometimes the fit is not the greatest and even though it may seem to snap closed, it could just be hanging on the edge. If you have a vernier caliper take the action out of the stock, lock the trigger group in and measure from the top of the receiver to the trigger group base that presses against the stock. Put the receiver back into the stock, lock the trigger group back in and take the same measurement. If it is greater, you would need to relieve some material from the area that the trigger group presses against. Do it slowly and carefully, you cannot put material back on easily.

This is the first thing that comes to mind when I hear of this problem. Hopefully others will chime in with other ideas. Good luck.

I was just re-reading your post. Does the trigger group wiggle around in the stock? If it is a loose sloppy fit, then you would need to build up the area where the trigger group contacts the stock. I would use JB weld as it cures hard as a rock.
