Test fired a Older Mini 14 with a folding stock not a target gun but a great little carbine for a ATV or truck or trappers. Fired sitting against a tree in the woods and it shot ok.

Fun gun. No not a GB. And not a factory folder. Sling should be mounted to the side of gas block. Had a few real folder and a real GB. One just like that was up on EE think last week. Nice rifle. Looks like your enjoying it

I'm kicking myself for not picking up a factory folder that was for sale in Brampton about a year ago for $1200. I was holding out for a GB folder (dumb mistake) so I let it slip between my fingers. I had to settle for a stainless 184 model with a Ram-Line stainless side folding stock. Very sharp looking rifle but the A2 pistol grip on my stock just doesn't do it for me. That is a very nice setup you have there. How did you manage to find the stock if you don't mind me asking?

The folding Stock is a original RUGER folding stock taken off a Mini 14 in the late 1970s
