Hello everyone,

I'm about to buy a Ruger Mini-30 (I love 7.62x39)

Wanted to get a few more mags instead of the single factory 5rd.

Does anyone know who sell theses mags?

I will also be getting a few parts here and there to dress it up to a tacti-cool look :)

So if anyone out there carries the long 5/30rds mag, I would love to get my hands on a few.

Just remember Ruger is producing the 20 and 30 round mags again so don't go paying $100 or more for the 5/20 and 5/30 mags, they're not as rare as they once were.

www.cnsfirearms.com

I already contacted them and yes they do ship to Canada.

I think you will be quite pleased.

Here's mine

ok, i need that mini 14 90rnd drum
that would be awsome, may go to jail for getting caught with it, but it would be so worth it lol:ar15:

Do they pin them to 5 rounds too?

I haven't ordered any yet so I am unsure as to weather or not they are pinned to 5.
I have seen mags that came up from Florida that were pined.
If when I get mine they are not pined I will do my part as a upstanding and responsible
gun owner and pin them myself.

I here you there. lol. :ar15:

I saw a mini 14 on the EE that came with a 90rd mag. Never bothered to ask the seller if it too was pinned to 5.
Would not seem to make much sense to do so other than to maintain your status as a
responsible and upstanding gun owner. As I am sure the vast majority of CGN members are. ;)

Its really no sweat off my back. Good luck with your game of chance.

Canadian Border Services and the RCMP seem to have a different interpretation then you, and they're capable of messing up your day real bad. (the next ten years for that matter)

As a self proclaimed "upstanding and responsible gun owner" you should be interested in doing some reading about "importing a prohibited item".

They would have to be pinned before entering the country there swifty.

Thank you for the friendly advise ERIC.

It's a nice feeling knowing there are good people like you
on this site to look out for the well being of your fellow
CGN members.

That 90 round drum mag was pinned. I was trying to get the seller to part it from the rifle/mag package he was selling, but he wanted to see it go as a lot. Even if he would have sold me just the magazine, I would wager it would have been for a fairly high price, since you dont see those everyday up here.

I"m going to drop CNS a line and ask about the pin deal.
The guy I talked to about shipping was very friendly so
maybe he will pin them for us. All it takes is a 1/8 drill
bit and a rivet. A sale is a sale in this economy.
Will let you guys know what they say.

Alright SKYNET,
I'll await your call :)

I'm on the wait for the Ruger Mini-30 anyways.

Hope to hear some updates soon :)

Bad news. I asked the sales guy if he would pin the 30 rounders for me, even told him he would get lots of sales,
but he said it was a no go... :bangHead:
Sorry guys it seem the hunt continues. Lets keep this thread alive and by all means
if anyone finds them please let us know.
