What you guys think of the Ruger mk4 target. I like the improvement made for disassembley. I only watch YouTube videos on them

I was going to get the MKIII earlier this year but once I saw how easy the MKIV is to take down - it was no contest. I've had mine since about February. I love it - the added weight of the Target model is great, fun to shoot, ammo is cheap. I did have some frustrating ejection issues at first - turns out it was due to: 1) the place I bought it from initially sold me a few boxes of CCI .22 LR HP ammo. The hollow point didn't work all that well (fine in my rifle - not the pistol) and 2) I took it apart, cleaned it throroughly and oiled it well. No issues since then... With 5 mags I would easily cycle through 400+ rounds and no issues since then.

I certainly like mine.

I have a stainless gun with the heavy barrel. I pushed off the rear sight and put on a Vortex sight as well as installing a Volquartsen trigger and slightly modified Hogue grips.

The pistol is smooth, accurate and fun to shoot.

I had avoided the Ruger pistols for 30 years due to worries about cleaning. I am glad I waited, and very happy with my newest handgun.

One of the best .22 pistols available, period. The full stainless ones are hefty, but the weight keeps them stable and very accurate.

Can a guy use cheaper bulk pack Ammo in them

I have an MKII and so far it has swallowed everything I threw at it without any hiccup. Including rem golden bullet and a bunch of very old stuff with brass that turned almost brown.
I'm really impressed with my mk2. Probably the mag and feed ramp angle makes for such smooth loading.
