Ruger MK1 Grips - Same as MK2?

Can anyone confirm that Grips designed to fit a Ruger MK2 fit an older MK1? I think the only difference is on the MK2 the grip is notched to allow the more modern style of mag release. Since I can't find new grips for my MK1 I want to pick up a set of MK2 grips, I just want to make sure they will fit before ordering.

The MK2 grips will fit your MK1 as long as it a A100 frame.
There is 2 differences, 1 is the slide release, the other is the pin size for the trigger. I have MK2 grips on my MK1 without any issues.
