Ruger offers their 350 magnum stainless in an ''allweather'' synthetic stock ,but does not offer it in the laminate stock-although they do in other calibers. Are they interchangeable?

if they are, then I wonder what the reason is for Ruger not offering them?if you wanted one-will they do it on a special order?

I contacted the Ruger "Warranty" place in Canada and they can get you ANY factory stock you'd like.........
Sell the extra one you don't want on CGN:D
Hope this helps,

you can swap for a laminate but depending on the model you might have to open up the barrel chanel. i put a laminated compact stock on a standard mark11 in 308. it was a ruger factory stock. it did require some inletting but if you go slow its easy. remember you can always remove more wood but its hard to replace whats already gone.

I'm talking about the regular ruger laminate stock they have on their stainless sporter model-which comes in a variety of calibers-just not the 350 mag, which is the one I'd want-basically the Remington ''guide gun''except in stainless and by Ruger

I have heard (???) that the Ruger 77 short magnums series and the 350RM have a different magazine well cut out - different (larger I guess) than the standard short action rounds like .308. I have the 350RM All Weather but I have never been able to compare it with a standard short action so I don't know whether that info is that's actually true.
