I just bought one of these jems used in S/S and was admiring the other night. It sure seems that the barrel rifling is very shallow compaired to anything else I have. Is this normal or is this barrel shot out:eek:
 
I'm planning on stripping it down tonight and give a real good cleaning to try and get any lead build up out of her with the brush and bore cleaner. I've ordered the Majestic Arms quick strip kit for it to make the job easier doen the road and a quick release mag latch too. After looking at the bore I was concerned that the rifling had been worn down so much that I could be waisting my money. If you guys say that its normal not to have prodominant lands and grooves than thats good enough for me.

I was shocked when I cleaned mine a while ago, looks like a smoothbore with a small, uniform scratch spun around the barrel. I was meaning to post this question, at least I'm not alone in my confusion. My rifling is more dramatically weak than that described to date though :eek:

And I'm such a bad shot that any analysis of accuracy is useless
