Hey guys,

I am seriously considering this rifle as a saddle gun. Obviously a lever action is traditional for this role and I like the detachable magazine. I also like the idea of .22WMR. I probably won't shoot it a whole lot. I would just like to have something reliable and light with me on the trail. I have a 10/22 and a couple of Vaquero's so I am a bit of a Ruger fan. I have never owned a .22 WMR. Any thoughts or insight on this idea would be appreciated. I tried a search but couldn't seem to come up with anything. Thanks,

I don't know about add ons but I shot a 96/22mag for years
it worked great and is a decent 22.My father in law liked it
so much I ended up giving it to him, still has it ,still using it
on a regular basis.Never had a single minutes grief.

My dad has one in WMR, had it a couple of years now and not even a box of shells through it so i told him i was going to use it before it rots!!! Nice looking functions well but wow is the trigger ever crap, it must be 10#'s so i can't say how it will group as it is truly brutal. Once we get the trigger done i'm sure it will be a great little rifle
