Got my (new to me) .357 magnum new Blackhawk today. The sights are a little different to what I’m used to on my other handguns in terms of visibility. Is it worth my time putting a bit of high vis paint on the front sight or are these sights actually pretty good as is? The front sight is silver soldered onto the barrel so I’m not that interested in melting them off or getting a gunsmith involved right now.
I’ll take it out for a christening at the range this week but I’m just shooting the breeze right now to see what people do. They’ll hopefully be fine as is.
