Ruger or Tikka

I'm on the fence, I found a Ruger American, Go wild Camo, Bronze Cerakote 16' barrel, Or a Tikka T3x 22' or maybe the CTR 20'. The gun will be mainly used for deer and a little target fun. Will be 6.5 CM. Im ok with the caliber, I just wanted to know if anyone has experience with a 16' barrel for these purposes? Seems a little short but I like the though of the compact. Most likely won't be shooting more then 250-300 yards. Does anyone have experience with Ruger in this configuration or the Tikka CTR, Any help would be appreciated before I order, Being Covid I can't really go handle them and see what feels better.

Tikka ctr is of much higher quality than the 16" ruger ranch

Just ordered a beautiful stainless Tikka T3X in a laminate. .270, thanks for all the input!!

You won't be disappointed! I have a laminate stainless in .308 and a lite stainless in .260, both are incredible shooters! Looking to add a .204 or .22-250 varmint, maybe even a .222 since it has the 14 twist instead of a goofy 8 twist like the .223.
