A Ruger P89DC decocker version 9mm.
Anyone with any thoughts about whether one of these is worth owning.
What would they be worth?
Just want to be safe rather than sorry, and the info I have been getting from CGN members is remarkable.

Sorry to bring it up again, but I read that thread and nothing was said about the guns performance. They were commenting on where to buy one. Unless I did not read it right.

They are on par with the P-85s and the P-85 Mk IIs. The thing about the P-Serieis, you either love 'em or hate 'em. Check out rugerforum.com as well. Great, reliable guns, eat anything you feed em, fit big mitts well and are accurate enough for most of us. You won't be winning any percision shooting events with em though and replace those crap grips with hogues..

I own one and have never been dissappointed. Just be prepared to hold a large gun in your hand. A P89 was my 1st handgun, so everything after it feels small, and vice versa for others that have handled it. I have not been dissappointed.
