Hello everyone. I need some simple springs and a few new roll pins for the bolts of my 10/22 and 10/22 magnum. I called the U.S number and they refered me to a place in Quebec called "Snap Shot". They said I could get the parts from there. I called and no answer. Has anyone else ordered simple factory replacements parts for their rugers? If so where did you get them.
Thanks

Hawktech off of rimfirecentral.com. I ordered a new hammer and recoil buffer from them and they were sent via Canada Post for free. The hammer was the best investment I made in that gun. Second was a thumbhole laminate from Boyds...

Yeah, brownells sells them. I have found them to be more expensive than the rimfirecentral guys. If you are looking for roll pins (I am assuming for the trigger group) they sell oversized ones that help remove the side-side play of the trigger group. Lots of guys just use cut off drill bits that are the right diameter. It's probably a lot cheaper than ordering from Brownells and faster too.

BTW, I tried dealing with "Snap Shot" too and I wasn't impressed. While I actually got to talk to someone there, they weren't helpful and didn't want to work with me at all.

Brownells was able to ship everything I wanted. The roll pin is actually for the bolt. Its the little pin that fits across the bolt to hold the firing pin in.
"Snap Shot" actually returned my call but was too late. To me, the lady on the phone seemed helpful and assured me that if I ever needed anything done to my ruger just send it to them. They even were will to take my order for factory parts.

Worth every penny. Made a huge difference in how tight the rifle is. No point in having a creep-free trigger when the whole ^%$# assembly moves....

Now you tell me! :p
