Hey folks,
I have a relatively new Ruger PCC.
Last year I zeroed it so that the Shield CQS RD was pretty much dead center at 100 yards.
Now that I'm taking the rifle out this spring though, it isn't even on paper at 50 or 100 yards!
Now, the Shield CQS has it's windage and elevation adjustment controls open to the air, no coverings.
I've also taken the handguard on/off the barrel, and taken down the rifle during this time. Also, the muzzle threading protector at one point worked it's way off the rifle and became trapped under the handguard (necessitating it's removal)....
Anyway, why do you folks figure the rifle would have lost zero so badly?
