Ruger PC Carbine- Replacement Charging Handle Screw?

Hi Everyone, I was hoping somebody might be able to point me in the right direction.... I am looking for a replacement charing handle cap screw for the firearm. I don't know how I lost it, but it's gone and online I've only been able to find aftermarket charging handles and not the screw itself. Any advice on how to acquire one?

Ouch! The Co-op farm store right next to my man cave shop has a great selection of Allen head screws. I strolled over one day and found a perfect fit to plug the gas hole on an SKS. The hole isn't threaded, but the screw fit tight, making the SKS into a straight pull bolt action.

If you want, I can take mine out of my PC9 and get you the length of the thread on the screw. You can try at some of the bolt supply places or auto parts stores.

Thanks for the offer Ken, but I just convinced myself to order an aftermarket charging handle that comes with a new screw. Thanks again!

Don't want to hijack a thread, but it seems dead enough for a tangential question...

Does anyone know the specs for the charging handle screw, or know of someone who makes a screw to "plug" the side opposite of where the handle is installed? Seems short sighted to have an ambi control, but to leave one side wide open.
