I have decided that my PCC9 is going to be minimalist and live in the Magpul takedown stock when I can get one.
I wont be putting any optics on the rail

I don't particularly enjoy the current irons and am looking for something else.

Google has found me "Eagle Eye" fiber optic sights in the US but id love to hear of any other options.

I wanted a tritium night sight option but haven't seen one anywhere. As you have noted, there are one or two companies making fiber optic front sight replacements I believe, can't recall who they manufacturers were, or if they are available in Canada.

so far Ive seen 3 fiber optics and none have been in Canada. Different levels of quality/price but when you factor in shipping from the US they all end up well over $100. and then there is customs... Who know what support is available as well?

As for Tritium id def be interested but id want to see what the setup looked like. I'm assuming it wont be cheap :)

I’ve been holding out for a true upgrade setup. The TK front sight would’ve already been lost to damage had it been installed. The front sight guard actually chipped a small portion of interlock lane way brick at my house. Strong AF Factory setup with the wings.
XS Sights makes what we need for other models of firearms. I imagine they will be fitting the PC Carbine out if there is enough demand.

In the meantime I plan to paint my front sight with one of the Hi-Lite front sight paint pens.

do you have recommendations on this? I saw a few on amazon? I am really liking the ~$10 price point :)

I do like how the current sight is protected, its just that my old eyes aren't picking up the centre blade that well

I've got the Tandemkross on my PC. the factory sites were hard to see in the dungeon I mean our indoor range due to lighting, the fibre optics work great. I'm in no rush for a scope or red dot on my rifle

As far as PCCs go, the Ruger is a cadillac.
It's easily the most capable 9mm platform for 100 yards and beyond.
There's a lot of stuff that's good for the sub 50 yard world. JR, FX, S2K, whatever.
They're a lot handier and lighter for that job.
I put a Bushnell 300 Blackout BDC 1-4x24 scope on my Ruger, and have fun ringing 3" gongs at a hundred yards all day long.
Put all the Tandemkross and M*Carbo stuff on it that you can find.
Jam 158 grain Campros onto 7 grains of Vihtavuori 3N38 and have at 'er!!!

Next question on the Tandemkross vein.

The sell a front site only or front and rear package.

is it worth replacing the rear as well or changing the front enough? I don't want to change stuff just to change it
