I had that scope (Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24 x 50) on a .22 rifle but recently bought the Ruger Precision .338 Lapua Mag
Will that scope serve me well for shooting at 1000+ yds or should I be looking for a stronger scope? Needless to say I am new to this rifle and would like to be sure that the scope can match the rifle well. Maybe that scope is ideal?
