Ruger Precision and XCR pistol mags

Anyone able to make this combo work? The magazines will insert and click in on an open bolt but closing the bolt/chambering a round kicks the magazine out. Was wondering if anyone has tried adjusting the mechanism to allow for this?

I think you might need or should I write mod the mag to make it work

My xcr mags worked when I had a ruger precision gen 2. It would hold the bolt open on last round though, and I didn’t feel like nodding my mags, There for I never used them. The ruger polymer mags work excellent and feed like butter, I found metal mags worked like ####e in the RPR, and had very rough feeding.

No Issues with XCR mags. For me they work as if they came stock with the rifle.

The Ruger mags I've had issue with springs that are too light, and won't keep a little tension on the feed lips.

The XCR mags continue to be inconsistent in my gen 1 RPR. I will say I will
Play around with them to make them work but I’ll probably never get to it.
