Ruger Precision Rifle part

The small toothed washer on the cheek riser snapped on my rifle. trying to get replacement part. Auger parts source in canada is an outfit called Snapshots in Quebec. Getting the part is like pulling teeth, $4.00 part, $17.00 shipping . Any suggestions for alternatives. ( Don't suggest don't buy Ruger, too late for that, I already have the rifle.)

I'm not familiar with the part and the RPR diagram I found on the 'net doesn't get that granular. Remember, most modern manufacturers use standard hardware, guns, cars, whatever. Economy of scale and all that.

Lots of different names and configurations for locking washers; internal or external tooth? Cut spring steel or stamped plate?

Give Alberta Fasteners a call, I bet they'll have what you need. Take a good clear pic of the broken part on a white piece of paper with the dimensions written in the lower left quarter in case you need to send them a picture.

Nothing wrong with Ruger, everything breaks sooner or later.
