Is there anyone who is running a picatinny rail greater than the 30 MOA one that comes standard on the Ruger precision rimfire?

I am supposed to shoot a match coming up, it'll be my first one, and I have found out that the 30 MOA rail is not going to cut it for the distances I'm supposed to hit. I have a total of 85 MOA adjustments in my scope and with the 30 MOA rail it's just not enough. I can only turn 72moa before I top out

I've been looking at the burris XTR signature rings to give me some more MOA but I feel like I'm at a crossroads here

Shooting CCI standard velocity with a vortex venom 5-25x56.

Geoballistics is telling me up 125moa for a distance of 550yds and up 186moa for 700yards.

putting a angled MOA monolithic scope mount on top of the 30 MOA rail will help your cause. it'll be cheaper than a prism. also MDT has 50 MOA scope base for ruger american 22lr. you would have to see if the hole pattern is the same as the precision and if it will interface with the handguard.

even 50 moa in the base+rings won't get you enough, might get your 500 with holdover on the retical but then the Venom doesn't give much room there either
might need the XTRs and the MDT 50 moa

Thanks for the advice guys! I messaged MDT and they do not make one for the precision rimfire, only the American. So I'm out of luck there.

Looks like it'll have to be the Burris xtr rings.

I'm very surprised that no one makes picatinny rails for the Ruger precision Rimfire.

I believe that would be because the market for extreme long distance .22 shooting is rather limited and just not worth producing product for such limited return.
Maybe the niche will grow and make it feasible for 1 or 2 manufacturers. Maybe a garage machinist will do it for the fun of the challenge.

I shoot a 40 MOA on my MPA voodoo setup. I can get out to longer distances and still have extra adjustability with the Vortex when needed. I got the 40 MOA through Go Big Tactical.

In my opinion, unless you have lots of experience with shooting rimfires at long range, I’d not pick this as your first competition. Things can get very frustrating when you’re not hitting anything. You will require very good dope for hitting things beyond 300yards. This will change with the weather throughout the day as well. I wish you luck.

I would like to help you if you allowed me.
#1 Your scope is mounted very low. I don't care what your ergonomics for eye box... higher scope mounts cover longer range of POI.
I am dual purposing my 10-50x60 between my 100 BR airgun and my W308 f-class also BR successfully. The picatinny is zero MOA, the mount is 20 MOA.
Scope height is 61.6 mm on W308 and 76.2 mm on my BR air rifle with this same mount.
The 100 meter zeroed for airgun and 200 meters zeroed for W308 is only couple clicks away .... from 200 M to to 300 M is 19 clicks for me.
This is my scope mount, I was well researching it for my games, may or not work for you, you have to try. No shortcuts.
