Ruger prefit barrels?

Been a fan of the Savage system for years, have swapped out barrels several times.

I see that the Ruger American has a similar barrel system and wondering if there are prefit barrels avaliable in Canada?
Does this use the same system (same diameter and threads) as the Ruger Precision Rifle?

Anyone done a barrel swap?

haven't seen any in Canada though (mostly because I didn't look for one but in the future... I might)
 
I was wondering if you could get replacement .223 American Ranch barrels. Just a factory replacement as I am bound to burn mine out at one point. :)

Maybe I'll see if Snapshots offers them.
 
I'm currently closing a deal on a Ruger American with a 16" barrel in .223 but would be nice to get a full length precision bull barrel for the gopher patch, maybe in 204 Ruger.

Then maybe a 12" barrel in 300 BLK as a "truck/tractor gun". The idea appeals to me.
