Ruger Ranch upgrades

Finally got the parts together to set up my Ruger Ranch rifle in a configuration that I like.

Do tell. I didn’t realize there was a Magpul stock with bottom metal that fit AR mags. What are the irons?

Stock is a Magpul American Hunter with the Stanag/AR15 magazine well. I have fitted the zero height cheek rest to allow use of the iron sights.

The sights are Nodak Spud sights for the Ruger American Ranch rifle (out of production at this time as far as I know).

Standard A2 flash hider.

Bushnell 1-8x LPVO attached with Leupold QRW2 quick release rings, high version.

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to shoot it in this configuration yet.

That’s a great setup! I’d love to do something like that with mine. But of course, the stock is nit available in a left hand configuration. Figures.

I think it is thick enough to modify it so it will take the 20rd bison mags. Sorry I can't measure it right now.

The standard well is great for that mod. It also has a couple of holes pre drilled in the forend that if you punch through they're spaced pretty well bang on with the outer holes of a 10/22 receiver rail. It feels great with an AFG.
