My grandfather own a .44 magnum ruger redhawk 7.5 inch and he is willing to sell me for 400$ . I found it a great deal and cheap. Tell me if its good or not. btw the round count is less than 150. its a model older than 1990. so maybe around 1985

don't worry he wont sell it to anyone else. Its pretty much sitting in his safe not shooting for years...(collector license ?? its collectionneur in french) Remember shooting it at 8 years old good old memory :)

But how much would it cost for exemple on the EE at fair price

If your grandfather is willing to sell it to you I suspect he'd be a lot more happy about it if you kept it and used it instead of doing a quick flip sale. Or at least discuss it with him before you flip it.

The fact that you shot it as a kid might be suggesting to him that you'd enjoy reliving those early memories. Otherwise he might as well sell it directly through a local gun store and pocket the money he gets instead of letting you have it for well under market value.

I think that the $700 is quite high too. A while back I got one off the EE here for $525 with local pickup instead of shipped. I thought it was a great price but I was far from the first person to look at the ad. So obviously something like 150 other folks didn't think it was a good enough deal to jump on. So I'd say asking more like around $600 to $630 and be willing to come down if you don't get any bites after a week would be prudent.

I wouldn't care for that barrel length but that is personal preference, the 7.5inch has its purpose. I was happy to give $600 for my 5.5inch blued example. I think you will be doing very well at $400 if you want to own it to shoot and if you mean to resell there's room to make a bit, but if that is so I very strongly endorse BCRider's remarks at post #7.

Grab it. I have the same gun. It shoots everything through it. Some folks don't like the the looks of the Super Red Hawk. You will light up some eyes when you take friends out to the range with it.

Rugers are easy to date by ser # on Rugers web site .
Buy it ! Don't sell it. Unless you are selling it to your grandson !
In the meantime take your grandfather to the range & put another 150 rnds through it !
