Ruger ring....replacement screws

Hey fellas.........where can i find replacement screws for a set of factory ruger rings....allen head or something other than those damn flatblade screwdriver types......the screws are marred up a bit from not using the proper tools,and I would like to replace them if possible,purely cosmetics only.............

Also,I seen a set of adapters that fit the ruger integral base that will allow you to install "weaver style" rings...any thoughts or ideas on how these are or where to get........thanks

I bought some from a member here but can't recall who. They were allen key heads and they worked great, I think they came from the island (vancouver). If I remember for sure I'll pm you if the fellow doesn't post first. It may have been Guntech (Dennis) but I'm not 100%

I stand corrected they are torque's not allen key :shock:

just for your information Weaver screws will fit Ruger rings.....I've robbed screws from Weavers (that I never use anyway) and put them into Ruger rings. Might be a quick way to get the Ruger rings servicable.

I have bought them (new style) from Western Gun Parts a couple months ago. You might want to give them a try.

I got a set of eight Torqz head screws from Dennis Sorensen a few months ago for a SAKO ring set. The same screws will fit the Ruger rings.
