Well the saga has an ending.
This was a stainless 4" barrel 12(6) handgun that I got about 5 months back in a bulk collection purchace. Not having a 12(6) permit the gun went to the smith for a barrel extension. Well actually the barrel was bored out and sleeved, (dan weston like).
Well the CFC has accepted the verifiers form, the transfer is complete and I'll be picking it up tonight.
only took about 2 months for the CFC to get all the paperwork sorted.
And in the end if things keep going the way it looks in regards to regulations and the registry I may have not had to do all this. First the longguns then the 12(x) stupidity.
Well I'll console myself with a trip to the range this weekend.
