how do you like it? any problems with them?

Thinking about getting a single six but seen this. Really do like the sights and the 4 more rounds. Never owned a single action before, this might be fun

Take a look at an Uberti 1873 Cattleman in 22lr..Now in Canada and it is a 12shot :) Beautiful case colored finish. Same dimensions/weight as the centerfire models.

I bought a single ten about 2 weeks ago and have absolutely zero complaints. Those fibre optic sights are fantastic and were probably the biggest selling feature for me and my aging eyes. If the lighting is even half way decent, I don't even need my reading glasses on to pick up th sights properly.

On top of that, the gun is rock solid. Shoots great; easily more accurate than I am. We put close to 400 rounds through it the first weekend out and it performed like a champ.

If it is on your radar, I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Ruger/Lipseys Single Ten is on it's way. 4 5/8" barrel.

Looks like this

Your going to love it!! (I love mine!)
Now, you have to go shopping for a western low slung holster rig!

I own one and I love it. I had to return it and have a new cylinder fitted because the cylinders were way too tight. It was tough to load and unload. Now that has been taken care of it is my favorite.

Had it out yesterday.

Its a joy to shoot, the .22 shorts are so quiet. Enough energy to knock down steel hangers though.

I enjoy the way the pistol just makes you slow everything down. Accurate too I might add.

i have a single six in the stainless and i love it.
was wondering what you where meaning about the sights?
do you mean the fiber optic front compared to the metal front?
because you can just replace the metal ones with the fiber optic, its one screw.

I like the idea of a 10 round .22lr cylinder for double action revolver's but for single action I'm fine with loading 6 at a time.
I also prefer the look of a more traditional cylinder with flutes and 6 notches... :)

The slower pace and reloading process of a single action revolver is not for everyone but I find it relaxing, specially on older single six's that index properly on the chambers and make it easy to unload without having to look at what your doing.

Enjoy the Single Ten.

I have a Single Six convertible 4.6" and love it. Probably my favourite handgun. I don't mind the slowing down of the pace when shooting. It's fun to occasionally shoot 22 magnum to see the big flash. I kept the front iron sight but swapped in a rear sight notch with the white painted line. The fiber optic on the Single Ten would be good (I like it on my GP100).

I initially thought the rear adjustable sight was just a metal cutout and not the fiber optic sight. My mistake.

It's a super accurate pistola with those green sights. Makes me look really good at plinking, pretty much suck with any of my other pistols.

ya the Wrangler has the metal cut out sight, i find those very hard to use.
the single six/ten have the nice nicer adjustable ones.
i just noticed that i haven't upgraded mine to fiber optic yet.... well i guess i know what im shopping for on the old internet tonight!
