Good day all!
Been following the forums down south and there are reports that the latest run of Ruger Sp101 .22 8 shot revolvers have a newer style hammer.
From previous reviews...folks have complained that the hammer was very sharp around the edges and the flat knurled was shredding thumbs.
Since then, Ruger apparently has address this with a subtle rounded surface and dehorned the edges.
The pic on the left is the early issue.
The one on the right is the current.
And also a video from this fellow who had his sent back for cyclinder misalignment.
He also describes the hammer differences.
