There was dealer who advertised these around the first of the year but I have heard nothing since so I suspect they're not in the country yet. iIn Jan. 2012 when I was at the SHOT Show I spoke to the Ruger people and they told me they were running 24 hours a day just to meet demand for the SR1911 full size . Since then Obama was reelected and Sandy Hook happened so my guess is that the SR1911 Commanders may not even be in production yet because of overwhelming demand. Hopefully with the planned new Ruger production facility some of these shortages will be finally alleviated.
