I was lucky to order a Ruger Sr-22 without being placed on a waiting list. I know that the model comes with no flash hider so I have been looking around. I'm fairly new with this website and with this particular gun so its been a learning process. I have been a gun owner for less than a year and I am addicted. I have acquired some accessories but need help with others. I have the following accessories:

4x32 Tactical Scope with fiber optic sight
AR15 M4 Ultralight Bipod With Ergonomic Foregrip and Picatinny Short Rail
TI25 Machined Aluminum Steel Lip Magazine for Ruger 10/22

What I am looking for is a flash suppressor and some handguard rails. I would prefer the handguard rails that are the same length as the SR-22 handguard but I don't know the length of the handguard; I know that the barrel is 16 in but that is it. I have seen rails but they seem to come in different lengths.

Any recommendations?

where did you get the TI25!

i called YHM about rails but he does not have full length rails for the sr

he suggested i try brownells, they do stock picatinny in various lengths, u would have to buy some, cut to length, drill & counterbore your own holes

Thanks! I'll check it out.

I wasn't able to order the TI-25 mags personally as they notified me that they don't ship to Canada. Luckily, I have contacts living stateside on the border that were able to able to help me out with that problem.

i have family in TX i could get it shipped to, but i don't know how illegal it is to have them send it up to me lol

wouldn't want to get anybody in trouble

Yeah, I know what you mean. I asked customer service at TI if it was illegal and they said no. However, there may be additional customs fees and redtape involved if shipped from the US, but I don't know.

It's certainly not illegal. It comes down to the issue of whether an export permit is required from the US Department of State or not. If you have just one of the TI-25 mags shipped, it should fall under the minor components under $100 exemption stated on page 7 of the below document and would not require an export permit:

http://www.pmddtc.state.gov/licensing/documents/Guidelines_Firearms.pdf

If you were shipping two mags or more ($120+), the export permit exemption would not apply, and a shipper with an export permit would be required.
