Ruger SR-22 Semi Handgun

I'm not sure how to add a link but can anyone tell if the Ruger SR-22 Semi-auto Handgun is legal to own here in Canada. I have been getting mixed views of this gun. If someone can add a link from the Ruger website about this handgun it would be greatly appreciated. I know that it has been difficult to get Ruger products lately but would like to get my hands on one of these if indeed they are legal to possess here in Canada.
 
Unfortunately that is a good thing. Otherwise we might say good bye to outr butler creek mags, and be limited to ten for pistol, like they did with the MP22.

It's not a shortened SR22...it doesn't take Butler Creek mags, so no worries.

I know, right? Why the hell did Ruger call it an SR22? They already make an SR22 and its a different gun completely. Forgive them if someone else made the SR22 but come on. If a Canadian importer/distributor went to them with the idea of a 106mm Canadian bbl Im sure they could do a run just for us, like has been done with other handguns that would otherwise be prohib.

It doesn't hurt to send an email to Ruger. If there is enough interest they may release with a longer barrel for Canada. It all comes down to profitability.
