I just watched the Ruger SR 9 video...

I suppose the gun is worth a closer look. What I found surprising in the video was one shooter who couldn't have much of a grip...the muzzle was jumping all over...other segments of the video with someone else shooting showed a lot less muzzle jump.

9mm only.. too bad. They are calling a 6 1/2 pound trigger pull "light."

Had a look at one today - great user friendly feel - similar in many respects to the p345, yet lower, thinner and adjustable rear sight, but a trigger that needs work - very badly. Wait for the next one - a .40 or .45 will surely be coming.

It looks very tempting, barrel is over 4".

Looks like they've update their site!
When this gun first came out, the barrel was listed as being 4.1" = 104.14 mm = prohibited (by my understanding of our &*#! regs).
The now list it as 4.14" = 105.156 mm = restricted!
That said, I have yet to see a Canadian dealer advertise one. :(

I guess it's light enough when you consider it's DAO.....

It is easy to understand because this gun is not cheap in compare with G17. M&P and XD. If they are among the same price range, which one people will buy?
