Why was the Ruger sr22 classified so quickly, and the Colt M4 .22, and the Sig522 are both still waiting for classification?

I would say its because its a reg 10/22 with a kit on it.

The sr22 is a modded 1022. Can't really argue that it isn't.

The other two are "new" guns that our friends at the RCMP will try to prohib as variants

The Sig522 will be probably restricted, AR look.

Man, I must really be getting old. I almost lashed out at that, then thought better of it.
Maybe SIG changed the look of their 5 series to the "ALMIGHTY" AR look when I was having an "old timers disease moment".
