Ruger SR40?

Looking at possibly buying this gun in a couple weeks.

Anyone have anything to say about the SR40 or SR9?

There have been a few threads on the SR9. Do a search. Make sure the time in the search criteria is set to more than a week.

I own an SR9. Looks nice. Very light, fits the hand nice. Too many safety things but you can get past that. Shoots okay.

alot of gun fir the money, you really cant go wrong. But the 9s are getting tough to find

I've got the SR9, cheap ammo and it shoots smoothly and beautifully, especially
since I added the Ghost Rocket trigger connector and the stainless bits and springs
from Galloway Precision. At $459 and about $100 in parts to make it a world class
pistol, you can't go wrong!

The trigger definitely gets better once it's broken in. And there are ways to improve it, some free.

I also have the SR9 with the Ghost Ultimate trigger upgrade and stainless bits from Galloway Precision. Light, comfortable grip and flawless reliability. Only 300 rounds so far and trigger is almost as good as my Sig 2022 which has an excellent s/a pull. Very nice for a striker fired pistol.
