Ruger SR556?

Hey- just finished watching a nutnfancy (yes, I watch his videos, flame-suit is on) video on the Ruger SR556 and it got me wondering- this rifle available in Canada? If so, where at? And bonus question: if there's a range report on this sucker here on the site- link me up!

I don't believe its available here hence the 556 part and the stupid US export laws. If it was chambered in .223 it would be legal(correct me if i'm wrong).

Looked at one at the Shot Show not worth buying. Action was rough and felt gritty ,very poorly balanced.
