How many versions do they have now? I noticed one I just got today (purchased new) has a curved style (magpul) trigger guard, I can't find pics anywhere of new ones offering this.

It came with 3 magazines also which was nice, albeit they are tiny 5 rd'ers and not PMAGS as US versions were selling with.

I believe they have the FB, which is the standard model. There is the E model with out all of the extras on the FB. Lastly, they just introduced the C model which has a shorter barrel but a pinned suppressor to make it California legal. Other than those differences I don't believe they have the curved trigger guard. They have a flat bottom trigger guard. Any of the extras on the FB are provided by Troy Industries including the full rail and pop up sights.

Hope that helps.

The newer versions of the SR556FB has the curved trigger guard. They also come with Samson folding sights, not Troy. The picture on the Ruger website shows he original configuration, they only updated the sights on the FB and C models to show the Samson's.

How do you like it? I have only seen a few reviews online and I really like the looks and cost of the E model. The only downside is it doesn't have a chrome lined barrel. Is the FB chrome lined?
