Hello,

I'm new to this forum and I just bought a Ruger SR9 pistol. I wanted to know if there is anywhere in Canada (Ontario is where I live) to get parts for my firearm. There are accessories from U.S but mostly all the stores will not shipping to Canada. I just want to get a few upgrades for my pistol like a stainless steel guide rod assemble and a stainless steel striker shaft. If anyone knows where I can get accessories for my Ruger SR9 I would greatly appreciated it.

Thank you :)

Older, less common pistols are sometimes a trick to get parts for...

You may want to explore Brownells as they are one of the stores that will ship and carry considerable variety.

I’m curious as to the perceived advantage of those "upgrade" parts since my SR9 has over 13K rounds through it so far with the only failure being the lower camblock pin breaking.
The replacement part was $5 and the $12 recoil spring assembly was changed just because the slide seemed to be hitting harder with hot reloads than it did when new.

I have an Ruger SR-9 as well and out of the box it shoots as well as I expected for this category of 9 MM.

No amount of modification will make it shoot like a CZ, as since I got the SR-9, I also have a CZ 85 Combat and a CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow which really opened my eyes as to how accurate a 9 MM can be.

But for a range gun and for popping the steel plates at my range, I still very much enjoy my SR-9 and still use it frequently. Still love how it feels in my hand.

But for serious target work, it is always my CZ's now. Literally, dropped my group sizes by 50% with the identical reloads I shoot of the SR-9.

So enjoy the hell out of your SR-9 as they are a fine pistol, but don't spend a lot of money on it trying to make it something it will never be.
