im thinking of buying the ruger sr9 handgun .any one with some info about that gun of any kind please fill me up.

This topic comes up every couple of weeks lol. They are great guns and probably the most under recognized polymer guns. Just search sr9 in this forum and it will keep you reading for hours
 
Had mine for a couple months and I love it, the fiance loves it, everybody who shoots it ends up having something positive to say about it.

For a NIB polymer pistol that costs under $450, it's one hell of a gun

where are they going for under $450?
 
Cast Lead bullets

A friend has one and it shoots jacketed ammo very well, but all of the cast lead seem to keyhole except for some 158 grain LSWC cast bullets. I'm not sure what powder loads he is using, but he has tried 120 gn round nose, 125 gn wadcutters, 147 gn round nose and only the 158 don't keyhole.
I suspect he may get better results b¥ slowing down the lead loads. Any comments are welcome.
